It's not secret that I love sugar. When I was a kid I loved to help my Mom make things if we were using brown sugar, I wanted to eat the hard clumps. (Okay I still do.) Pretty much if it is sweet it has my name on it. And thanks to a special treat from Beth, I am now wanting my favorite indulgence more than ever. And it's NOT IN INDIANA. For reals. It's not. And right now that is all I want. A delicious Blueberry Truffle from See's Candy. Rich butter cream with blueberries. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. I really thought that See's was everywhere before we moved here. I mean it is only the greatest candy company ever. And I am not a die hard chocolate fan.. but their chocolate, theirs is a different story. See's you need to open a shop in Indiana. I promise I will visit it lots.

LEEANN...SEE's candy, I went to college right by the factory it is why I am so overweight. I loved the chocolate suckers. I so miss See's and Fresh Choice, and Carl's Junior and REAL sourdough bread!!!
Oooooh! Now I'll be on a mission to find those for you.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE Sees Candy. Nothing even compare to it. My favorite are the divinities....yum!
I am spending the day in Spokane with Elisabeth on Thursday and I have plans of stopping by the See's shop there and buying myself a box. It's become my tradition. A little treat to look forward to so that I am GLAD that we have to go to Spokane :)
Oh.....and my girls love the brown clumps too....they BEG for them!
This country needs a See's in Indiana and an IKEA in New Mexico.
Try this link: http://www.sees.com/Cat.cfm/Custom_Mix I think the chocolate that you want is time 59. Enjoy.
When we moved here, I had to order stuff from the catalog for Dan (I grew up here, so I was a Mrs. Fields girl- not anymore!) Randy IS reading this two weeks before Valentine's Day, right? Way to help him out.
Lee can I tell you how much I like reading your blog!? You crack me up. I love your honesty. So sorry you don't have See's in Indiana - I hate when I want something really bad, like Cafe Rio, and it doesn't exist here in the Rainy Place...only in Utah. And I know this is not related to your blueberry truffle issue...but I know how you feel about missing home. Sometimes it hits me, even though we've been here a while - almost two years - and there are so many things I love about our home here. I love your positive thoughts - you're awesome to focus on the things you're grateful for!
By the way I laughed out loud at your descriptions of NOT ironed clothes...awesome!!!
I have a few other things to add to the list of NOT IN INDIANA. I'll save it for later though:)
What a trial it can be to move away from stores and food you would die for like . . . see's . . . Costco . . . truffles . . . nutella :) . . . Lee
miss you!
