To pass the time I brought my camera, and my kids were terrific sports and we had a photo shoot around the temple. We took over 500 pictures. Kind of insane. And I didn't take one of just the temple. I pulled out my 85mm lens, and that baby produces the best images. I love my prime lenses and really should pull them out more often. This lens always leaves me drooling.
We made the kids dress up. Here is Little Man. He is in desperate need of a haircut, but we just don't seem to fit that in lately. Hopefully we will soon.

And a quick shot of Little Miss. I love how sweet she looks.
Little Man wanted to be the photographer. And being the AWESOME mom that I am gave it to him. I love this picture he captured of Little Miss and me. And I was brave and even gave Little Miss a chance to take a few of Little Man and I. Well.. they are blurry. And crazy. We need to practice a little bit more with a lighter, more manageable camera.
We finished our day off downtown Louisville at the Hardrock Cafe. My kids could barely sit still. They wanted to rock out and show off their mad air guitar skills. My kids baby. My kids. Do they get much better than this? I don't think so.

I love my 85 too. I should bust it out more often.
Beautiful pictures! I think taking pictures of my kids is the best way to waste some time.
such cute pics. What a fun day. maybe we'll do that when we come :)
Fun! You'll have to tell us when you go again - we are always looking for someone to trade with when we go down :)
O.k., if you took over 500 shots I want to see more than just one of each of them! Come on....share some more!
It looks like the apple doesn't far fall from the tree! Little Man definitely has your eye for a good picture!!
And I'm with Allison, we need to see more!
P.S.
Such a good idea for you and Randy to trade off, and what a great way for your kids to spend the day at such a beautiful and peaceful place.
