Little Rock

I failed to mention that I was going away on an airplane. I had been counting down the days until I left and finally the time came and on Wednesday I was off to Little Rock. All by myself. I was excited, and nervous.

[b]ecker who is from Orange County, California was going to be in Little Rock, Arkansas for a wedding. And while he was there he decided to do a fabulous workshop. Since I have literally stalked his blog for years I decided I HAD to go. It wasn't that I wanted to go, I was obligated. He is one of the best Wedding Photographers and I wanted to learn from him. I tried my hardest to get a friend to go with me, and thankfully Lei, obliged, and she met me late that night. It was fun to chat and go to wonderful Wal-Mart in Little Rock. I was surprised how far we had to drive to get there.
Thursday morning was workshop time. I seriously was so excited. Can you tell?

We learned a ton. All about our image, images, attitude, and infrastructure. I won't go into all of the details and bore you. But I was loving it all. My brain was completely overwhelmed, good thing I was taking notes on my Wonder Woman notebook. Everyone else was much more high class with their laptops. I don't have one. I rocked the notebook. If you want to know more ask me. :)

We were able to watch Becker work an engagement shoot. It was fabulous. And we could get a few shots in too. This is one of my favorites from the day.
After it was over we all hung out at the Flying Saucer until late into the night. We chatted, we laughed. And it was fabulous. I didn't take my camera, but I am hoping to find some pictures from that night. Lei and I stayed up way too late talking and having fun.

Friday it was time to go home. I must admit I wasn't sad to leave wet Arkansas. I was ready to see my family. I am grateful I went. And I cannot wait to go to another workshop again. But not too soon. Lei was wonderful company, and I cannot thank her enough for going. It was a much needed break for me. And she took the pictures of me on here! Thank you, thank you!

If you are a photographer and are wanting to connect with other photographers go to the [b]school and sign up. It is an amazing resource for photographers and a great place to learn.

Little Rock. It was pretty awesome.
